CROCHET
I learned the single crochet stitch from my aunt as a child and then set it aside for several years until I decided to really learn and began watching YouTube tutorials around 2006. I have crocheted nonstop since then, often designing original patterns around a stitch or combination of stitches I’ve decided to learn. Most of the objects I make out of crochet are my original patterns, originating for specific varied purposes – including jewelry, home decor, garments, conceptual art, grocery bags, and gifts. I enjoy experimenting with stream-of-thought designs and also with organized, pre-planned designs. Additionally, I am proficient at reading patterns.
